TVD - Homeless Outreach

"Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward them for what they have done."
~ Proverbs 19:17 ~

Triumphant Victorious Decor has the opportunity of being a part of the homeless outreach!
With that said, 100% of our proceeds, from now until December 20th will go toward this cause.

You may be asking, "What is this about?" And I'm glad you asked!
Well, through a few fantastic ladies from the homeless outreach within our church family,  they approached me a couple weeks ago and asked, "If we get you mason jars and other materials of your choice, would you be able to create something with them for a cause?"  At first I thought, "I have so much going on..." - but then remembered how earlier that morning, I specifically prayed, "Lord, thank you for stirring up the creaivity that is already within me by the power of your Holy Spirit."  And voila - there they were, insrumental 'stirrers' in doing just what I had prayed for hours prior.

So here it is - these lovely ladies came up with a great idea - $20 donation in exchange for each fun sized jar.

The original purpose was to utilize them as candle holders, but then as it would happen, other ideas came forth in the process - from a "THANKFUL" jar with a chalk board surface to other ways of utilization with being a cute planter or even a jar filled with chocolates and a gift card.

Also I want to make mention how incredibly grateful I am to these ladies as well as  acknowledge them: Cindy, Zandy and Jasmin for the materials and for asking me to be a part by making these adorably cute items.

Although it began as an idea for a candle votive to represent "being the light", so much more came from it!

Finally, you may be asking, "What does my $20 donation go towards? "
Well, I'm glad you asked!
The full $20 or more donation goes toward providing protection, warmth, and a covering during the winter months for about 200 homeless people within our community - upon every donation from the jars it was for the opportunity in allowing 200 homeless to receive: a sleeping bag, hat, gloves and a pair of thermal socks.

As you can see in the pictures below - you can utilize these jars for many helpful purposes which reminds me of how God doesn't "use" us as pawns, instead, He carefully utilizes us in any way He sees fit to encourage and empower others as He is glorified!
